Empowering Indigenous Families With the RIV App

EchoesofSilence.Life: Indigenous Women and Peoples' Stories (IWPS) is a movement dedicated to addressing the ongoing crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S).
Founded by Shawn Hancock, EchoesofSilence.Life exists to empower Indigenous families and communities with tools to search for their missing loved ones, share their stories, and demand accountability from systems that have long failed them.
At the heart of our work is the Reviving Indigenous Voices (RIV) app, a game-changing tool designed to provide families with GPS tracking, live alerts, case management support, and language accessibility to aid in searches for missing Indigenous people.
We believe it takes a village to create lasting change — and we won’t stop until every voice is heard, every story is shared, and every family finds the justice they deserve.
Join us in reviving Indigenous voices and ending this silent crisis.
